Shipping and Return Policy for Maccao Chocolates
Shipment of Products: Purchases from Maccao Chocolates are shipped from our own or third-party warehouses located in India. We strive to deliver your order within 2-8 business days (based on the location) from the date of payment confirmation. Deliveries are made between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Given the heat-sensitive nature of chocolates, we package them with thermocol boxes and ice gel packs to ensure they remain in perfect condition during transit.
Cash on Delivery (COD): Currently, COD is not available for our products.
Delivery Policy:
- All deliveries must be signed for upon receipt. We cannot accept responsibility for deliveries signed for by someone other than the intended recipient at the address provided at the time of order placement.
- Please ensure the delivery address provided is accurate. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses.
- Once the order is dispatched, it cannot be redirected or redelivered to a different address.
- Deliveries will only be made to cities where the product is marked as “available” on our website.
- Maccao Chocolates is not liable for any damage to products after successful delivery.
Failed Delivery: Maccao Chocolates considers an order delivery “failed” in the following cases:
- Incorrect address provided.
- Recipient unavailable.
- Premises locked.
In case of a failed delivery, we will contact the customer to reschedule. If the second delivery attempt also fails, additional delivery charges will apply. Should the customer refuse to pay for the second delivery attempt, we will process a full refund of the order amount.
Special Circumstances: In case of natural calamities (e.g., floods, heavy rains) or national events (e.g., bandhs), we reserve the right to reschedule delivery. Customers will be notified accordingly.
Damage or Shortages: All claims for shortages or damages must be reported on the day of delivery via the “Contact Us” page on our website. Any issues must also be noted on the delivery challan and returned to the delivery person.
Shipping Charges: Shipping rates vary depending on the product’s packaging, size, and other factors. Shipping charges are displayed at checkout prior to payment.
Returns and Refunds:
- Products once delivered and accepted as per the original order cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- For products that are damaged, expired, or do not match the original order, please return them to the delivery person with remarks on the delivery challan. Additionally, contact our customer service team via the “Contact Us” page, including your order number and delivery date.
- Returned items must be accompanied by the original receipt and return/exchange authorization number. They must also be unopened and in saleable condition.
- Postage and return charges will not be refunded.
- We cannot accept returns or exchanges for sale items, or products that have been opened or used.
- Refund requests are processed within 1-3 weeks from the day the returned package is received. We will notify you once the return is complete.
Dispatch Guidelines: Orders received before 10:00 AM will be processed the same day. Orders received after this time will be processed on the next business day. Dispatches are not made on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays due to the heat sensitivity of the product.
